XO Ambidex – the solution in left-handed dentistry

Many practitioners face problems due to the lack of flexibility and adjustments in dental units. Especially for left-handed professionals, poor allocation of some elements - as the suction hose holder - can gravely influence the quality of treatment and health of dentists and dental assistants alike.

 

A multitude of studies that worked with dental students to examine the implications of left-handed dentistry.

 

The majority of left-handed students have shown moderate difficulty in working with equipment designed for right-handers. There is a high frequency of musculoskeletal pain/discomfort with relevant statistical results for left-handed students regarding intensity. 

 

 

It is suggested therefore that institutions and manufacturers evaluate the adoption of novel products, re-adapt the infrastructure to include equipment designed for left-handers, enabling all dental practitioners to work ergonomically correct.[1]

 

The above insights fortify our course to promote the XO Ambidex suction system. This not only as we aspire to assist left-handed practitioners, but also generally underscoring our ambition to assist all practitioners in adapting healthy working postures – both when working in DUO or SOLO.
